UIL Academics
The University Interscholastic League (UIL) offers the nation’s most comprehensive program of academic competition, with contests ranging from elementary through high school. More than half a million students participate each year in events designed to extend classroom learning, encourage critical and creative thinking, and provide opportunities for students to showcase their mastery of skills.

UIL Academics allows students to challenge themselves beyond the curriculum, explore their strengths, and compete in areas such as writing, speech, math, science, and more. Participation not only develops confidence and leadership but can also open doors to scholarships and future academic opportunities.
