⛳️ EHS Golf update! ⛳️

On Monday, April 6, the Eustace High School Golf Boy's & Girl's Teams participated in the second and final round of district play at Van Zandt Country Club in Canton. The boys came into the 2nd-round in 5th place, while the girls held a 5-stroke lead for 1st place.

The boys finished in 5th place in district, 13 strokes from 4th place. And although they finished in 5th, they did pick up 10 strokes on the 4th place team.

The girls team never gave up their lead and finished as the District 15-3A Champions! 💜
The team, consisting of Landry Huggins, Madyson Borden, Gabby Key, Reese Bennett, and Remington Spivey will play in the Regional rounds on Wednesday, April 15, and Thursday, April 16, at Oakhurst Golf Club in Bullard.

Additionally, Landry Huggins finished as the 1st Place Medalist in the girls division. Her two-round total of 154 (76 & 78) were 34 strokes in front of 2nd Place!

The Eustace High School Golf Program provides student-athletes with the opportunity to develop their skills both on and off the course. Athletes learn the fundamentals of the game, practice sportsmanship, and compete in district and regional tournaments while representing Eustace with pride. In recent years, the program has celebrated notable success, including sending a golfer to compete at the UIL 3A Girls Golf State Tournament. The program emphasizes teamwork, discipline, and personal growth, while encouraging players of all experience levels to strive for excellence and build a lifelong appreciation for the sport.
