Personal information: Tammy Beaty grew up in Mabank and was an honor graduated from Mabank High School in 1989. Her family has lived here and owned their own business since 1977. Tammy says, "My success is accredited to my parent's support and those teachers & administrators that cared to go above and beyond by providing opportunities and new experiences in the classroom. Had my teacher never given me the opportunity to try my hand at makeup design, I never would have won that award in high school and I wouldn't be sitting here today teaching theater. It was my gift and her job to cultivate it. That's what a teacher does."
Ms. Beaty is also a member of the Texas Educational Theater Association, a class sponsor, Junior Class prom committee sponsor and on the Local School Council committee.
