Todd Felty
- Band Director
Todd Felty is going into his
6th year as Director of Bands for Eustace ISD. Prior to coming to Eustace
Mr. Felty was the director in Cross Plains, TX, where the band enjoyed many
successes including qualifying for the Area UIL Marching Contest twice, Mr.
Felty has also taught in Winters, McCamey, Crosbyton and Ranger. A graduate
of Texas Tech University with a Bachelors and Masters degree in Music
Education, Mr. Felty has 22 years experience in Texas schools and is a
member of the Association of Texas Small School Bands, Texas Band Masters
Association and Texas Music Educators.
Mr. Felty is married to Eustace Kindergarten teacher Twyla Felty and has 4
children Megan, Danielle, Jake and Josh. All of the family members are
musical and participate in the band.

James K. Taylor - Asst. Band Director
Jim Taylor is in his third year as Assistant Band Director for Eustace ISD. He has taught sixteen years in public school and nineteen years in private. His bands won six state championships while in private schools. Mr. Taylor graduated from Richardson High School where he as a TMEA All-State French Horn Player. He then attended SMU, played in various Army Bands including one in Viet Nam and graduated from the University Of North Texas.
Mr. Taylor is also a country fiddler, has led various church choirs, and he is a composer. His hobbies include fishing and anything to do with aviation.
Mr. Taylor is married to Dianne, the First Baptist Academy Dallas Elementary Librarian. He has three children and seven grand children. |
