The HS All-Region Jazz auditions for Region 3 were held in
Grand Saline this past Saturday Sept 27th. The following students
competed and gained a position with the band: Alex Pharmakis (4th
Trumpet) and Kallan Campbell (2nd Tenor Sax) . Travis Meeks made
alternate on Alto Sax. All three qualified for Area Jazz Ensemble
and taped a session to compete at the State auditions in November.
The concert will be on Nov. 11th at 7pm in Quinlan, Tx at the Ford
HS auditorium. Please congratulate these students on a fine
performance!!
